Jakarta (ANTARA) \u2013 Universal BPR held Universal Bonanza 2026 as an\ninitiative to offer value beyond banking transaction services,\nstrengthen long-term relationships with customers and encourage more\nplanned financial habits.<\/p>\n
Universal BPR President Commissioner Kaman Siboro stressed the\nimportance of developing a saving habit and building greater financial\nresilience to meet future needs and adapt to change.<\/p>\n
\u201cBy making a habit of saving, we can set aside emergency funds and\nprepare for future needs,\u201d Kaman said in a statement in Jakarta on\nWednesday.<\/p>\n
Besides recognising customers, the event provided an opportunity for\ncustomers from a range of professional and business backgrounds to\ninteract. Universal BPR hopes the gathering will help them expand their\nnetworks and create opportunities for collaboration.<\/p>\n
\u201cCustomers also need to understand the terms of deposit insurance\nprovided by the Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS), as well\nas OJK\u2019s role in supervising banking activities,\u201d Kaman said.<\/p>\n
Adi Dharma, head of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) office in\nBanten Province, praised Universal BPR\u2019s initiative to provide\nadditional benefits to customers.<\/p>\n
\u201cOJK supports Universal Bonanza because it is one of Universal BPR\u2019s\nefforts to serve its customers. Through this programme, customers have\nthe opportunity to gain added value from the banking services provided,\u201d\nhe said.<\/p>\n
The event, themed \u201cWinning Amid Change\u201d, featured Professor Rhenald\nKasali in an inspirational session on adaptation and preparing for the\nfuture. It also marked the first prize draw for the Universal Plus\nsavings programme.<\/p>\n
Rhenald discussed economic dynamics, technological developments and\nthe effects of artificial intelligence (AI) on society and business.<\/p>\n
He emphasised the importance of adapting, improving productivity and\ncontinually developing skills. At the same time, he said, financial\npreparedness should be built through prudent money management, including\nsetting aside funds to deal with risks.<\/p>\n
\u201cMany people think money is only for investment, whereas we also need\nto prepare for various risks. A prudent person is not only good at\nincreasing income, but also at preserving wealth so that their family\ncan have peace of mind in the future,\u201d Rhenald said.<\/p>\n
Interactive discussions and a question-and-answer session helped\nparticipants relate the theme of change to everyday challenges,\nincluding personal development, business management and family financial\nplanning.<\/p>\n
Universal Bonanza 2026 also marked the first draw for Universal Plus,\na savings programme offering prizes that is designed to reward customer\nloyalty and encourage consistent saving.<\/p>\n
