        "content": "<p>Universitas Islam Bandung (Unisba) continued its refreshment of\nleadership at the faculty level, inaugurating five deans on Wednesday, 4\nMarch. The ceremony was conducted by Unisba Rector Prof A Harits Nu\u2019man.\nThe five deans will lead for the 2026\u20132030 term. The event was attended\nby the foundation\u2019s leadership and university officials, as well as\nUnisba\u2019s administrative ranks.<\/p>\n<p>The five deans appointed were: Asep Ahmad Siddiq, Dean of the Faculty\nof Da\u2019wah; Prof Nan Rahminawati, Dean of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and\nTeacher Training; Dewi Rosiana, Dean of the Faculty of Psychology; Rini\nRinawati, Dean of the Faculty of Communication Science; and Prof Sri\nFadilah, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business.<\/p>\n<p>In his address, Rector Harits expressed gratitude to the outgoing\ndeans for their dedication and achievements. \u201cLeadership is not only\nabout personal achievement, but the benefits felt by the academic\ncommunity, including improvements to study programme rankings and\nlecturers\u2019 careers,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>To the new deans, he urged them to continue and strengthen existing\nachievements, and to increase student numbers through collaboration and\nby strengthening public trust.<\/p>\n<p>Enhancing academic quality<\/p>\n<p>The Rector also emphasised Unisba\u2019s commitment to producing graduates\nwho excel in science and religion, grounded in the Spirit 3M (Mujahid,\nMujtahid, Mujaddid) and the IMAN values (Islamic Spirit, Maintenance and\nSustainability, Adaptability, as well as National and\nGlobalisation).<\/p>\n<p>Looking ahead, Unisba will focus on improving academic quality and\nsecuring exemplary accreditation, strengthening professional and\naccountable governance, and boosting its international reputation.\n\u201cCurrently, 18 of 36 study programmes or 50% have achieved Excellent\nAccreditation,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Chair of the Unisba Foundation\u2019s Board of Trustees,\nProf KH Miftah Faridl, expressed appreciation for the outgoing deans and\nurged the officeholders to carry out their duties with responsibility\nand sincerity. The religious scholar also underscored the importance of\nfaith, honesty, patience, and resilience in carrying out duties and\nfacing challenges.<\/p>\n<p>At the ceremony, in acknowledgment of the departing deans, the Rector\npresented an honorarium in the Rector\u2019s meeting room.<\/p>",
