        "content": "<p>Unions ends RI boycott<\/p>\n<p>SYDNEY (AFP): Australian dockers agreed Friday to call off<br>\ntheir ban on Indonesian ships from midnight Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>The Maritime Union of Australia (MUA) was reacting to a call<br>\nfrom the Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU) to suspend<br>\ntheir industrial boycott of Indonesia when peacekeepers arrive in<br>\nEast Timor.<\/p>\n<p>But the union body warned in a statement the bans would be<br>\nquickly reimposed if Indonesia failed to uphold its commitments<br>\nto the United Nations in relation to the peacekeepers.<\/p>\n<p>Australian unions have boycotted all commercial activity<br>\ninvolving Indonesia for a week in protest at the killing of<br>\nthousands of people in East Timor by army-backed militias.<\/p>\n<p>The bans caused loading of three shiploads of wheat to<br>\nIndonesia to be delayed and a build-up of containers and general<br>\ncargo on ports around Australia.<\/p>",
