        "content": "<p>Uni-Charm enters unit<\/p>\n<p>TOKYO (Reuter): Uni-Charm Corp, a leading Japanese producer of<br>\ndisposable nappies and sanitary napkins, said yesterday that it<br>\nhad formed units in Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore with the<br>\naim of becoming a top player in the East Asian market.<\/p>\n<p>PT Uni-Charm Indonesia was formed in June to produce and sell<br>\nsanitary napkins, Uni-Charm said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>The unit, capitalized at about one billion yen, is 74 percent<br>\nowned by Uni-Charm and 26 percent owned by Indonesia's Sinar Mas<br>\ngroup, the Japanese company said.<\/p>\n<p>Also in June, Uni-Charm formed United Charm Malaysia Sdn Bhd,<br>\na wholly owned unit in Malaysia, to import and sell sanitary<br>\nnapkins, the company said.<\/p>\n<p>In April it formed Uni-Charm (Singapore) Pte Ltd, a wholly-<br>\nowned finance unit.<\/p>",
