UNHCR seeks help from TNI<\/p>\n
KUPANG, East Nusa Tenggara: The United Nations High
\nCommissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) is seeking the help of the
\nIndonesian Military (TNI) to contact the guardians of East
\nTimorese Indonesian children in East Nusa Tenggara who have been
\nseparated from their parents.<\/p>\n
\"The UNHCR has written us a letter, complete with the names of
\n11 East Timorese Indonesian children who have been separated from
\ntheir parents in the wake of the violence in East Timor in 1999.
\nThey have asked for our help to find their guardians in East Nusa
\nTenggara,\" Commander of Wirasakti Military Resort Col. Moeswarno
\nMoesanip, said here Thursday.<\/p>\n
The UNHCR made the request after it received the power of
\nattorney from their parents who now live in the capital of newly
\nindependent East Timor, Dili, he said.<\/p>\n
He said the local security authorities had no objections to
