        "content": "<p>Semarang (ANTARA) - Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) in Semarang\nprovided services to six disabled individuals who were participants in\nthe Computer-Based Written Exam (UTBK) for the National Selection Based\non Tests (SNBT) 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Chair for Educational Development of the Institute for the\nDevelopment and Quality Assurance of Education (LP2MP) at Undip, Prof Dr\nParamita Prananingtyas, in Semarang on Tuesday, reaffirmed the\ninstitution\u2019s commitment to delivering inclusive services.<\/p>\n<p>She explained that the six disabled participants in this year\u2019s\nUTBK-SNBT at Undip consisted of three with physical disabilities and\nthree with hearing impairments.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis step is taken to ensure that all participants, without\nexception, have equal opportunities and adequate accessibility in taking\nthe exam,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Accompaniment was carried out proportionately to maintain the\nintegrity of the exam while ensuring the comfort of participants with\nspecial needs during the selection process.<\/p>\n<p>As part of efforts to optimise services, she said, Undip has mapped\nout disability-friendly exam locations, such as buildings equipped with\nlifts and adaptive exam rooms.<\/p>\n<p>She stated that the placement of participants\u2019 locations was done\nstrategically, including at the Faculty of Law, which has lift\ninfrastructure and adjustable seating areas to support the mobility\nneeds of participants with physical disabilities.<\/p>\n<p>All service procedures, she said, have been arranged to align with\nnational standards without reducing the strictness of supervision.<\/p>\n<p>She emphasised that Undip pays serious attention to technical details\non the ground to minimise physical obstacles for participants.<\/p>\n<p>Paramita said that these efforts demonstrate that the campus is not\nonly focused on academic aspects but also on humanitarian aspects and\njustice in access to education for the wider community.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlhamdulillah, the disabled participants also felt quite satisfied\nwith the facilities provided by Undip. We have prepared and adjusted our\nfacilities to the maximum according to the needs of those disabled\nparticipants,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>By providing special services, she said, Undip still enforces\nsecurity protocols and strict checks for all participants, including the\nuse of metal detectors to prevent any form of cheating.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is done in accordance with the standard operating procedures\n(SOP) set by the central committee to maintain the credibility of the\nexam results,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>The implementation of UTBK-SNBT 2026 at Undip was attended by 23,933\nparticipants, taking place from 21-29 April 2026 at various locations on\nthe Undip Tembalang and Pleburan campuses.<\/p>",
