        "content": "<p>Kupang (ANTARA) - Universitas Nusa Cendana (Undana) in Kupang, NTT,\nis exploring strategic cooperation in vocational education, research,\nand cultural exchanges with Jiangxi Science and Technology Normal\nUniversity, China, as part of efforts to expand the campus\u2019s\ninternational networks. Rector of Undana, Prof.\u00a0Jefri S. Bale, in Kupang\nafter a meeting with representatives from the university, stated that\nthe international cooperation being built must have a tangible impact on\nregional development, particularly in improving the quality of human\nresources. \u201cWe want this cooperation to be global yet contextual. The\npartner institution has strengths in vocational learning systems that\ncover the entire industrial chain. This is very strategic for enhancing\nour human resource capacity in agriculture and animal health,\u201d he said.\nHe explained that the focus of the cooperation is directed towards\nstrengthening vocational education in modern agriculture, livestock,\nfisheries, and renewable energy sectors that align with the\ncharacteristics of the NTT region. In addition to academic\nstrengthening, the meeting also discussed opportunities to establish a\nConfucius Institute at Undana as a centre for learning Chinese language\nand culture for students and the general public in NTT. Undana views\nthis synergy as part of the campus\u2019s transformation towards becoming a\nworld-class university while remaining grounded in empowering local\npotential.
