Uncaring attitude of Sahid Jaya Hotel<\/p>\n
About two weeks ago on a Sunday afternoon, I parked my car at
\nHotel Sahid Jaya on Jl. Sudirman. After paying Rp 2,000, I left
\nmy car parked for two hours. When I returned, still in broad
\ndaylight, the door had been opened, the lock broken, my
\nsunglasses stolen and the radio displaced.<\/p>\n
I immediately spoke to security guards, who complained that
\nthe parking area was wide and there were only two guards on
\npatrol. The next week I tried on many occasions to call the
\nPublic Relations department to see what they were doing about the
\nproblem. Further frustrated with their indifference and their
\ninability to return my phone calls, I tried speaking to the
\ngeneral manager who told me that the hotel accepts no
\nresponsibility for cars parked on their premises. I wondered that
\nif this was the case, then what was the use of paying Rp 2,000
\nadmittance fee if one's car is not safe during the middle of the
\nday?<\/p>\n
I am disappointed at the hotel's inability to take
\nresponsibility for their ineptitude.<\/p>\n
