        "content": "<p>UN special envoy to visit Myanmar<\/p>\n<p>YANGON (DPA): United Nations Special Envoy to Myanmar Razali<br>\nIsmail has been invited to pay a four-day visit to the country<br>\nstarting June 1, government officials confirmed on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>It will be Razali's fourth visit to the problem-plagued<br>\ncountry since June, 2000, shortly after the Malaysian diplomat<br>\nwas appointed special envoy to Myanmar for UN Secretary General<br>\nKofi Annan.<\/p>\n<p>Razali had greater success than his predecessors in breaching<br>\nthe political gulf between Myanmar's ruling military junta and<br>\nthe main opposition party, the National League for Democracy<br>\n(NLD), headed by Nobel Peace Prize laureate Aung San Suu Kyi.<\/p>\n<p>Shortly after Razali's first two visits last year, the two<br>\nsides initiated a quiet political dialogue in October, aimed at<br>\nending years of deadlock.<\/p>",
