        "content": "<p>Washington (ANTARA) \u2013 The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) has\ncondemned the \u2018vile and cowardly\u2019 terrorist suicide bombing on a\npassenger train in Pakistan. In a press statement on Tuesday (26 May),\nthe council stated that Sunday\u2019s (24 May) suicide bombing in Balochistan\nprovince killed at least 14 Pakistani nationals and injured dozens more,\nincluding women and children. \u2018The council members reaffirmed that\nterrorism in all its forms and manifestations constitutes one of the\nmost serious threats to international peace and security,\u2019 the statement\nread. The UNSC extended its deepest sympathies and condolences to the\nvictims\u2019 families, as well as to the government and people of Pakistan,\nand prayed for the swift recovery of the injured. UNSC member states\nwere also urged to actively cooperate with Pakistan in accordance with\ninternational law and relevant Security Council resolutions. \u2018The\ncouncil members reiterated that any act of terrorism is criminal and\nunjustifiable, regardless of its motivations, wherever, whenever, and by\nwhomsoever committed,\u2019 the UNSC statement said.
