"summary": "Residents of South Tangerang are facing unexpected old tax bills for rural and urban land and building tax (PBB-P2) despite having proof of payment, sparking complaints on social media about potential issues in local tax data management. The head of the South Tangerang Revenue Agency explained that these bills stem from legacy arrears transferred from central to local government in 2014, which remain in the system until verified or cleared. The agency is conducting mass data verification and urges affected residents to report with payment evidence via WhatsApp or in person to ensure accurate records and taxpayer certainty.",
