You cannot even count the number of people\nseeking help.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jim\u00e9nez recounted the terrifying moment the earthquake struck,\ndescribing how the shaking started softly but intensified rapidly,\nlasting for more than a minute and making it impossible to stand. He\nreported that health facilities, particularly in La Guaira, suffered\nsevere structural damage and are now collapsing under the sheer volume\nof people seeking medical attention. The most urgent needs are for\nmedical supplies, including bandages, surgical sutures, and essential\nmedicines.<\/p>",
