UMNO youths visit House<\/p>\n
JAKARTA: A delegation of Malaysian young people from the
\nUnited Malays National Organization (UMNO) visited the House of
\nRepresentatives here on Thursday to help boost ties between young
\npeople in Malaysia and Indonesia.<\/p>\n
House deputy speaker Zainal Maarif received the Malaysian
\ndelegation, which was headed by deputy UMNO youth wing chairman
\nMohd. Hasnol Datuk Ayub.<\/p>\n
Zainal said the issue of choking haze from Indonesia was not
\nspecifically discussed during the meeting, but he urged the
\ngovernment to take all possible measures to prevent forest fires
\nfrom spreading, as acrid haze resulting from the fires had
\naffected neighboring countries.<\/p>\n
\"What will our neighbors say if we cannot deal with the fire?\"
