        "content": "<p>UKSW suspends lecturers<\/p>\n<p>SALATIGA, Central Java: The Satya Wacana Christian University<br>\nhas suspended 20 staff members and slashed their salaries by 50<br>\npercent for supporting a recent student riot on campus.<\/p>\n<p>Rector John JOI Ihalauw said he could not condone the behavior<br>\nof the lecturers.<\/p>\n<p>Among those suspended are Nico L. Kana, dean of the post-<br>\ngraduate program, Ariel Heryanto, Sumarthana, and Limson<br>\nSingalang.<\/p>\n<p>The riot, which left a number of buildings damaged, marked the<br>\nclimax of a long conflict within the university pitting the<br>\nrector and a handful of staff lecturers against hundreds of<br>\nstudents.<\/p>\n<p>Three students, Helio, Tony and Zagota, are under police<br>\ncustody in connection with the riot.
