        "content": "<p>Semarang (ANTARA) - UIN Walisongo Semarang has launched a Library and\nInformation Science study programme under the Faculty of Social and\nPolitical Sciences.<\/p>\n<p>The Public Relations Officer of UIN Walisongo Semarang, Astri\nAmanati, in Semarang, Friday, said that this new study programme is the\nonly one of its kind among Islamic Higher Education Institutions (PTKI)\nin the coastal areas of Central Java.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis new study programme adopts the Unity of Science paradigm, a\ncurriculum that integrates library science with digital technology,\nIslamic values, humanity, and local wisdom,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>She added that the study programme is designed to prepare graduates\nwho are competitive at both national and global levels.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are preparing graduates who are ready to pursue careers in\nvarious sectors,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>With the issuance of the operational permit, she continued, UIN\nSemarang is offering opportunities for graduates of Senior High Schools\n(SMA\/MA) and Vocational High Schools (SMK) to join this academic\nyear.<\/p>",
