        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Doctoral Programme (S3) in Islamic Banking at\nthe Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of Syarif Hidayatullah State\nIslamic University (UIN) Jakarta has officially achieved Excellent\nAccreditation status from the Independent Accreditation Agency for\nEconomics, Management, Business, and Accounting (LAMEMBA).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis achievement of Excellent Accreditation is tangible proof of FEB\nUIN Jakarta\u2019s commitment to delivering high-quality and\nindustry-relevant doctoral education in Islamic banking, as well as\nadvancing Islamic knowledge,\u201d said Dean of FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah\nJakarta, Prof Ibnu Qizam, in a statement in Jakarta on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Ibnu emphasised that they adopt an integrative, interdisciplinary,\nand multidisciplinary approach in the learning process.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe continue to strive to become a leading centre for studies in\nIslamic economics and finance, both nationally and internationally,\u201d he\nstated.<\/p>\n<p>Ibnu also mentioned that the curriculum is based on Outcome-Based\nEducation (OBE), designed to produce graduates who excel not only\nacademically but also contribute meaningfully as researchers, academics,\nglobally minded Islamic banking practitioners, and visionary\npolicymakers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith the OBE curriculum that we continuously update, graduates of\nthis programme are prepared to become outstanding academics and\nresearchers in Islamic economics and finance, as well as professionals\ncapable of addressing the challenges of the global Islamic financial\nindustry,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>It is known that, in accordance with Ministry of Religious Affairs\nRegulation (PMA) Number 6 of 2026 on the Establishment of Faculties,\nDepartments, and Study Programmes, as well as Degree Titles and\nProcedures for Writing Degrees in the Religious Sciences Cluster, the S3\nIslamic Banking Programme will soon change its nomenclature to S3 in\nIslamic Banking and Finance.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside achieving Excellent Accreditation and this nomenclature\nchange, FEB UIN Jakarta has opened registrations for new students in the\nDoctoral Programme in Islamic Banking for the Odd Semester\n2026\/2027.<\/p>\n<p>The programme is expected to soon open prestigious scholarship\npathways, including the LPDP BIB (Indonesia Bangkit Scholarship), from\nthe Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia in\ncollaboration with LPDP.<\/p>",
