        "content": "<p>Palu (ANTARA) \u2013 State Islamic University Datokarama Palu (UIN\nDatokarama Palu) and the National News Agency LKBN ANTARA are\ncollaborating to strengthen the dissemination of public information on\nhigher education.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis step is part of the effort to accelerate the dissemination of\ninformation regarding policies and administration of higher education,\u201d\nsaid Rector Prof Lukman Thahir of UIN Datokarama Palu in Palu, on\nThursday.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the role of the mass media is very important in\nbuilding public trust in universities. In addition, the media also\nprovides enlightenment to the public including countering hoaxes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMass media, as the fourth pillar of democracy, play a vital role in\nmaintaining balance. Through this collaboration we hope UIN Datokarama\nwill become more widely socialised to a broad audience, so that interest\nin the university increases,\u201d Lukman said.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Head of ANTARA Central Sulawesi Bureau Andilala stated\nthat ANTARA as a news agency has an obligation to broadcast information\nthat is balanced, accurate and credible to the public.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, ANTARA is also tasked by the state to carry out public\nservice obligations (PSO) in the field of press to provide trusted\npublic information, with the aim of disseminating state policies evenly\nto remote areas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis includes building a positive image through news content.
