        "content": "<p>The Faculty of Administrative Sciences (FIA) at the University of\nIndonesia (UI) has become one of the initiators in establishing the\nAsian School of Public Affairs Association (ASPAA) together with four\nother leading universities. Besides UI (QS WUR #189), the other founders\nare Zhejiang University (QS WUR #49), Nanyang Technological University\n(QS WUR #12), City University of Hong Kong (QS WUR #63), and the\nUniversity of Macau (QS WUR #285). Teguh Kurniawan, Vice Dean for\nEducation, Research, and Student Affairs at FIA UI, stated in Depok on\nThursday that UI\u2019s presence as a founding member of the association\ndemonstrates international recognition of its academic capacity and its\ncontribution to the development of public affairs studies, public\npolicy, and governance at both regional and global levels. \u201cASPAA opens\nup space for closer collaboration among universities in Asia to develop\ninnovative curricula and research relevant to current public governance\nchallenges. UI\u2019s presence as a founder reflects our commitment to\ndelivering tangible contributions, while strengthening Indonesia\u2019s\nposition in the international academic arena,\u201d he said.
