        "content": "<p>Depok - Three students from the University of Indonesia (UI) Creative\nBusiness programme in the Vocational Education programme have created\nthe UMKM-GO innovation, which brings digital solutions to support the\ndevelopment of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The UMKM-GO\ninnovator team, consisting of Muhammad Fayadh, Adiba Khanza Aleyna\nPutri, and Stevy Fiter Andina Simatupang, was motivated to present an\nartificial intelligence (AI)-based solution to help MSME actors analyse\nbusiness feasibility objectively, in a structured manner, and based on\ndata. \u201cBy utilising AI, the UMKM-GO platform is capable of providing\nfast, consistent analysis that can be accessed by many users. This\nplatform not only helps MSMEs improve management quality but also\nencourages a shift in mindset towards data-based decision-making,\u201d said\nMuhammad Fayadh in Depok on Monday. Through the artificial intelligence\n(AI)-based platform innovation named UMKM-GO, they bring digital\nsolutions to support the development of micro, small, and medium\nenterprises (MSMEs). Through this platform, MSMEs can obtain a\ncomprehensive business readiness score along with in-depth analysis and\nstrategic recommendations. Investors are also facilitated with a more\nefficient screening system to find potential MSMEs. This approach\ndemonstrates the use of AI-based big data that can process, analyse, and\ninterpret large amounts of data into valuable information, thus\nproducing real solutions for business ecosystem development. Moreover,\nthe UMKM-GO innovation also contributes to achieving the Sustainable\nDevelopment Goals (SDGs). For SDG number 8 (Decent Work and Economic\nGrowth), UMKM-GO supports increased productivity and business\nsustainability through more accurate performance analysis. Meanwhile,\nfor SDG number 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), this\nplatform strengthens the digital infrastructure of the MSME sector with\nadaptive and relevant AI technology for contemporary needs. \u201cUMKM-GO\nreflects the integration of science, innovation, and contributions to\nsustainable development,\u201d he said. Nevertheless, the team realises that\nthe main challenge in implementing this platform lies in the quality and\nvalidity of MSME data. To address this, they have developed a system\nwith a simple validation mechanism to ensure the accuracy of analysis\nresults. In the future, UMKM-GO is expected to be developed through\ncollaboration with the government, financial institutions, and other\nstrategic partners, so that it can be utilised as a tool in more\ntargeted, inclusive, and data-based MSME mentoring programmes.
