        "content": "<p>The Faculty of Law at Universitas Indonesia (FH UI) is currently\ninvestigating an issue regarding allegations that students created a\ngroup containing conversations with elements of sexual harassment.\nScreenshots of the conversations in that chat group are currently viral\non social media. The conversations contain verbal harassment and\nobjectification of women. Through a post on X, the Dean of FH UI stated\nthat the faculty has received reports regarding alleged violations of\nthe code of ethics that also potentially contain criminal elements,\nrelated to the activities of some students. Based on those reports, FH\nUI stated that it is aware of the circulating screenshots of\nconversations allegedly involving students and containing inappropriate\ncontent, including indications of sexual violence. \u201cThe faculty strongly\ncondemns all forms of behaviour that degrade human dignity and\ncontradict legal and academic ethical values,\u201d stated the Dean of FH UI\nin that post. FH UI is currently conducting a serious, careful, and\nthorough investigation and verification. This process is carried out\nwhile upholding the principles of prudence and justice. \u201cIf violations\nare found, including those that potentially violate criminal law, the\nfaculty will take firm steps in accordance with applicable provisions\nand coordinate with the relevant authorities,\u201d he said. Furthermore, FH\nUI emphasises that the safety and comfort of the entire academic\ncommunity is the top priority.
