        "content": "<p>Although our campuses are separated by mountains and oceans, we share\nthe same core objective of improving our communities\u2019 quality of life.\nDepok (ANTARA) \u2013 The University of Indonesia (UI) and Shanghai\nUniversity of Finance and Economics (SUFE) are exploring a strategic\npartnership in economics and business to enhance academic capacity,\nscholarly quality, and international reputation. UI\u2019s Academic\nVice-Rector, Mahmud Sudibandriyo, said on Tuesday in Depok that UI, as\nIndonesia\u2019s most comprehensive university, remains open to international\npartnerships. \u2018We are open to expanding and strengthening collaborations\nwith various Chinese universities, including SUFE, which excels in\neconomics and business scholarship,\u2019 he said. SUFE\u2019s Vice President and\nDean of the College of Business, Jin Yuying, emphasised the importance\nof the SUFE-UI partnership, which in a broader context strengthens\nIndonesia-China relations. Both parties discussed potential\ncollaboration areas, particularly in economics and business scholarship,\nmanagement, and public administration and policy \u2013 SUFE\u2019s key strengths.\nSUFE also aims to expand its partnership network to develop\ncross-cultural, language, and intercultural studies through its School\nof Foreign Studies. Dean of UI\u2019s Faculty of Economics and Business\n(FEB), Yulianti, stated that the collaboration with SUFE aims to\nstrengthen academic capacity and boost FEB UI\u2019s international ranking\nthrough research collaboration, faculty exchanges, and student exchange\nprogrammes. SUFE is also expected to collaborate with LPEM FEB UI, a\nresearch institution focused on public policy and national development,\nand UI\u2019s largest academic research community. \u2018One of our hopes from the\nSUFE partnership is collaboration in research, faculty exchanges, and\nstudent exchanges.
