        "content": "<p>Semarang \u2013 Dian Nuswantoro University (Udinus) in Semarang has\ndeveloped a religiously themed technological innovation, Animasi\nMurottal (A-Mur), as a medium for learning to read the Qur\u2019an.<\/p>\n<p>The launch of A-Mur took place at the opening of the fourth Rohis\nRamadhan pesantren in Indonesia at the Masjid Agung Jawa Tengah (MAJT),\nSemarang, on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Rector of Udinus, Prof Dr Pulung Nurtantio Andono, explained that\nA-Mur is a collaboration of science, dawa (proselytisation) and\ntechnology using the Live Shot to Animation method.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlhamdulillah, today Udinus is launching Animasi Murottal in\ncollaboration with the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious\nAffairs (Kanwil Kemenag) of Central Java to train students\u2019 potential so\nthat it is not merely theory, but is directly applied,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The innovation was produced by researchers at the Centre for Computer\nScience in Arts and Culture (CSAC), Udinus Faculty of Computer Science\n(FIK) students, and the Matholi\u2019ul Anwar Islamic Practice Body at\nUdinus.<\/p>\n<p>They regularly hold animation production workshops with partners,\nincluding students as contributors, organisations, and schools to be\ninvited to collaborate.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Head of the A-Mur Development Team and also the Head\nof the Informatics Engineering Study Program at Udinus, Dr Edy Mulyanto,\nexplained that A-Mur employs 3D technology and artificial intelligence\n(AI).<\/p>\n<p>He said that 3D and AI were chosen because today\u2019s generation is more\nattracted to the visual aspects of animation than conventional\nlearning.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, he said, generative AI enables the animation production\nprocess to be easy and fast with good visual quality.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe aim is for teachers to create engaging learning media, so as to\nfoster a love for the Qur\u2019an from an early age among Generation Z and\nGeneration Alpha,\u201d said the PAM head.<\/p>\n<p>Head of the Islamic Religious Education Sub-Directorate (PAI) for\nsenior high schools\/ madrasah aliyah\/ vocational schools at the Ministry\nof Religious Affairs, Lelis Tsuroya Herniatin, positively welcomed\nUdinus\u2019s A-Mur.<\/p>\n<p>She said the innovation is a very good medium for popularising the\nrecitation of the Qur\u2019an in a more engaging way.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe hope this launch provides a new impetus, especially for Rohis\nmembers across provinces who will become role models and drivers of\ndigital literacy in their regions,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, A-Mur content can be enjoyed on social media platforms\nsuch as YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram <span class=\"citation\" data-cites=\"amurudinus\">@amurudinus<\/span>, and is broadcast daily\nbefore the Maghrib azan on TVKU.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the inauguration of A-Mur, Udinus also signed a\ncooperation agreement with the Central Java Province Ministry of\nReligious Affairs regarding the development of Da\u2019wah media and Qur\u2019an\nlearning based on digital media.<\/p>\n<p>Attending were the Secretary General of the Ministry of Religious\nAffairs, Kamaruddin Amin, the Udinus Senate Chair Prof Dr Edi\nNoersasongko, and the university\u2019s Deputy Rector II, Prof Dr Guruh Fajar\nShidik.<\/p>",
