        "content": "<p>Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika (UBSI) has reaffirmed its\ncommitment as a creative digital campus by delivering a technology-based\nsolution for the education sector through its students. Rafif Maulana, a\nstudent from the Information Systems programme, handed over a web-based\nE-Rapor information system to SMA Islam Rejis Bekasi on Tuesday\n(30\/6\/2026). The application was developed as part of his thesis\nresearch under the supervision of Muhamad Abdul Ghani and Sari Dewi. The\nhandover to the school, represented by the headmaster and teachers,\nincluded a presentation and demonstration of the system. The web-based\nE-Rapor application was created to support the digitalisation of\nacademic data management at SMA Islam Rejis Bekasi, which previously\nrelied on separate manual spreadsheets. The integrated system now\nenables more effective, faster, and accurate data management. The system\nis designed with role-based access control for administrators, subject\nteachers, and homeroom teachers. Its features are tailored to the needs\nof the Merdeka Curriculum, including student data management, formative\nand summative grade input, attendance recording, automatic conversion of\nattitude predicates, and real-time printing of digital report cards in\nPDF format. The application was built using the PHP programming language\nwith the CodeIgniter 4 framework, a MySQL database, and a Bootstrap 5\ninterface. Black-box testing showed that all functions operate as\nrequired with a 100 per cent success rate. The headmaster of SMA Islam\nRejis Bekasi expressed appreciation for the innovation, stating that the\napplication provides a solution to the previously manual grade\nprocessing. \u2018We are greatly assisted by this E-Rapor application. The\ngrade processing, which previously took a long time and was prone to\ninput errors, can now be done automatically, integrated, and more\naccurately. This application is a real step in supporting the\ndigitalisation of school administration and the implementation of the\nMerdeka Curriculum,\u2019 he said in a press release on Tuesday (7\/7\/2026).\nSupervisor Muhamad Abdul Ghani explained that the work demonstrates how\nacademic learning can provide direct benefits to the community. \u2018Through\nthesis research, students are not only required to produce scientific\nwork but also to create solutions that can be applied to meet real\nneeds. We hope this application can be used sustainably to improve the\neffectiveness of academic administration management in schools,\u2019 he\nsaid.
