        "content": "<p>A Community Service Team (PkM) from UBSI (Universitas Bina Sarana\nInformatika), a Digital Creative Campus, led by Sri Wasiyanti, M.Kom,\nwith team member Dr Euis Meinawati, held a training session on product\ncreation and packaging design for members of the Go Green Greeny Waste\nBank in Bojong Gede, Bogor, West Java, on Tuesday (16\/6\/2026). The\nactivity, which took place in Depok, aimed to improve participants\u2019\nskills in developing products with economic value while strengthening\nproduct appeal through more professional packaging.<\/p>\n<p>The training featured Indah Purwandani, Chair of the Go Green Greeny\nBojong Gede Waste Bank, as the speaker. In her presentation, she\nexplained the importance of product and packaging innovation to increase\nselling value and expand marketing opportunities for waste management\nproducts. \u201cA good product needs to be supported by attractive and\ninformative packaging to boost consumer confidence. Packaging is also\none of the factors that determines a product\u2019s competitiveness in the\nmarket,\u201d Indah said during the training session.<\/p>\n<p>The activity was attended by the Chair and 10 members of the Waste\nBank. Participants actively engaged in discussion and practical sessions\ncovering the stages of creating value-added products, selecting\npackaging materials, developing product identity, and principles of\neffective packaging design.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to lecturers, UBSI students Muhammad Fikri Al-Ghifari and\nRyu Putra Yonata were also involved. Both assisted in mentoring\nparticipants and documenting the training.<\/p>\n<p>PkM Team Leader Sri Wasiyanti, M.Kom, said this training is part of\nefforts to enhance the capacity of waste bank members so they not only\nfocus on waste management but are also able to develop products with\nhigher economic value. \u201cThrough good packaging and appropriate marketing\nstrategies, products from waste management are expected to be more\naccepted by the community and have better competitiveness,\u201d Sri said in\na statement quoted on Saturday (20\/6\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>According to her, developing skills in product processing and\npackaging design is an important step to support the sustainability of\ncommunity-based enterprises. Through these abilities, waste bank members\ncan gain greater opportunities to increase the added value of their\nrecycling activities. \u201cThrough this training, we hope participants will\nbe more motivated to innovate in creating creative products based on\nrecycling,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>The activity also serves as a form of higher education contribution\nin supporting community empowerment, sustainable environmental\nmanagement, and strengthening the local community economy.<\/p>",
