        "content": "<p>The Rector of Universitas Budi Luhur (UBL), Agus Setyo Budi, has\nstated that the university has suspended the lecturer linked to a report\nof alleged sexual harassment against a student with the initials A. This\ndecision is contained in the Rector\u2019s Decree Number:\nK\/UBL\/REK\/000\/006\/02\/26 regarding the Release from Duties in the Field\nof the Tri Dharma of Higher Education for the Lecturer in the Even\nSemester of the 2025\/2026 Academic Year, effective from 27 February\n2026. \u201cUniversitas Budi Luhur has taken firm and structured steps by\nsuspending (the reported lecturer),\u201d Agus said, quoted from the official\nUniversitas Budi Luhur website on Tuesday (7\/4). Agus explained that the\ndecision was made to open opportunities for a thorough investigation\ninto the report of alleged sexual harassment. \u201cThis is aimed at opening\nopportunities for in-depth investigation and the collection of\nadditional evidence to ensure the investigation process runs\nobjectively, independently, and free from interference,\u201d he stated.\nFurthermore, Agus revealed the results of the investigation by the Task\nForce for the Prevention and Handling of Violence in Higher Education\n(Satgas PPKPT), which stated that the evidence and witnesses presented\nby student A, the alleged victim, were not strong enough. \u201cBased on the\nresults of the investigation by the Satgas PPKPT team, it is stated that\nthe evidence submitted and the witnesses presented are not sufficiently\nstrong to point towards the alleged sexual violence (sexual harassment)\nreported against the Respondent,\u201d he said. Agus emphasised that his\ncampus is fully committed to creating a safe, dignified environment free\nfrom sexual violence. \u201cUniversitas Budi Luhur consistently remains fully\ncommitted to creating a safe, dignified campus environment free from all\nforms of sexual violence, bullying, and intolerance by implementing a\nzero-tolerance principle,\u201d he said. In a post on the alleged victim\u2019s\nInstagram account, student A is believed to have been a victim of sexual\nharassment by her lecturer when she was 19 years old. She mentioned that\nthere are two other people who became victims with a similar pattern of\nevents. In that post, student A protested regarding the alleged\nperpetrator who was only temporarily suspended from his position as a\nlecturer.<\/p>",
