        "content": "<p>Officers apprehended two youths who were found carrying various types\nof sharp weapons and dangerous blunt instruments,\u201d said the Head of the\nMobile Brigade (Brimob) of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Commissioner\nHenik Maryanto, on Thursday (June 4, 2026).<\/p>\n<p>The two were arrested while police were conducting a patrol in the\nearly hours of the morning, around 02:30 WIB. The patrols are conducted\nregularly to anticipate security disturbances.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile passing through the area, officers found a group of youths\nwith suspicious movements who were strongly suspected of preparing to\ncarry out a brawl,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The youths initially tried to disperse when they saw the police.\nHowever, both youths were apprehended before the brawl could take\nplace.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom the hands of the two apprehended youths, officers seized a\nnumber of crucial pieces of evidence that were prepared for the act of\nviolence, including one golf club, one machete, one sickle, one corbek\n(modified sharp weapon), and one mobile phone which is suspected of\nbeing used to coordinate with the opposing group,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, this action is a commitment to maintaining security\nin the area in a preventative and responsive manner.
