        "content": "<p>Two villages given computer facilities<\/p>\n<p>YOGYAKARTA: To provide local farmers with access to world<br>\nmarkets, the Sleman administration installed communications<br>\nfacilities in two villages here on Tuesday in observance of<br>\nNational Technology Day.<\/p>\n<p>The project was initiated in cooperation with the Yogyakarta<br>\noffice of state-owned company PT Telkom.<\/p>\n<p>The communications facilities, including computers, were<br>\nhanded over to the two villages, Trumpon and Turi, by Sleman<br>\nRegent Ibnu Subiyanto. Both are known for their salak fruit<br>\nproduction, which offers attractive agro-tourism possibilities in<br>\nYogyakarta.<\/p>\n<p>The regent said that, as part of a greater communications<br>\nnetwork, the villages would have more chances to market their<br>\nproducts.<\/p>\n<p>Sleman plans to set up similar facilities in the hamlet of<br>\nBrajan in Sendangarum village, Mingir subdistrict, which is known<br>\nas a tourist area as well as a production center of bamboo-made<br>\nhandicrafts and furniture. --JP<\/p>",
