        "content": "<p>Southeast Asia\u2019s digital economy is growing much faster, even\noutpacing its digital security infrastructure. Responding to this\ngrowth, technology company TOTM Technologies Limited and Indonesia\u2019s\nnational AI collaboration platform, Korika, announced the launch of a\nstrategic partnership with the Artificial Intelligence Industry Research\nand Innovation Collaboration (KORIKA).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis partnership drives the adoption of the latest secure,\nresponsible and trustworthy technology in Indonesia and Southeast Asia,\u201d\nsaid Group Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of TOTM\nTechnologies, Chan Wei Jie, in a statement on Tuesday, 18 August\n2026.<\/p>\n<p>KORIKA was established under the auspices of the National Artificial\nIntelligence Strategy (Stranas KA), bringing together government\ninstitutions, academia, industry and communities in the field of AI\ninnovation and digital transformation without neglecting security\nelements.<\/p>\n<p>TOTM Technologies builds digital infrastructure that connects\nartificial intelligence, quantum-safe technology and digital identity.\nThis enables the expansion of national identity programme coverage and\ncross-border trust infrastructure in the regional area.<\/p>\n<p>Chan Wei explained that this partnership formalises the shared\ninterest and hope between both parties in promoting cross-border\ncutting-edge technology collaboration. This will ultimately connect\nIndonesia\u2019s growing digital economy to the ASEAN region.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur partnership with KORIKA reflects our shared perspective that\ncross-border collaboration is essential to building a more connected and\ntrusted digital economy in ASEAN countries,\u201d said Chan Wei Jie.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe see this partnership as a point towards a more integrated\nSoutheast Asia, focused on the application of technology and shared\ncapabilities to achieve measurable results,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Chairman of KORIKA, Prof.\u00a0Dr.\u00a0Hammam Riza, said the collaboration\ncovers three areas.
