        "content": "<p>Government has set up an evacuation site at Jusuf Hamka Field, Jalan\nBenyamin Suaeb, for more effective data collection and coordination of\nfire disaster assistance in the Kebon Kosong area of Kemayoran, Central\nJakarta. Safrizal ZA, Director General of Regional Administration at the\nMinistry of Home Affairs, stated that evacuation facilities have been\nprepared with support from various parties.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTemporary evacuation sites have been arranged so residents do not\ngather on the streets and can rest, along with logistics provided by\nBPBD in collaboration with the Social Affairs Office, PMI, and Baznas,\u201d\nSafrizal said, reported by Antara on Tuesday, 2 June 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Three tents have been provided by the DKI Jakarta Social Affairs\nOffice, and several logistics vehicles from PMI and BPBD have arrived at\nthe site. Currently, data collection is underway for affected residents\nin two RWs: RW 04 covering five RTs (RT 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16) and RW\n05 covering three RTs (RT 01, 02, and 03).<\/p>\n<p>Safrizal explained that the data will include school-age children to\nensure their education needs are met. After the emergency situation\nconcludes, the government will conduct a building inventory and discuss\nlong-term measures for residents.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOnce this emergency is over, we will discuss the process for the\ncommunity, including possible relocations to safer housing,\u201d Safrizal\nadded.<\/p>\n<p>A fire broke out in the densely populated Kampung Pasar Haji Ung area\non Jalan Kemayoran Gempol, Kebon Kosong, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, on\nMonday, 1 June at around 8:55 pm WIB.<\/p>\n<p>DKI Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat) deployed 35 fire\ntrucks and 165 personnel to extinguish the blaze, which is suspected to\nhave been caused by an electrical short circuit. DKI Jakarta Fire and\nRescue Service Chief Bayu Meghantara confirmed adequate water sources at\nthe site.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlhamdulillah, the water supply is sufficient,\u201d Bayu said.<\/p>\n<p>Bayu also confirmed that officers promptly assisted residents\nrequiring medical aid.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSome residents were taken to hospital due to minor injuries and\nsmoke inhalation,\u201d he added.<\/p>",
