Two pile-ups take place on toll roads<\/p>\n

Slippery roads have caused two pile-ups on the busy Jakarta-
\nCikampek and Jagorawi toll roads on Sunday.<\/p>\n
There were no fatalities in the accidents.<\/p>\n
The accident on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road took place at
\nabout 3:50 p.m. at kilometer 33 in Cikarang, involving two large
\ntrucks, a small truck and a sedan.<\/p>\n
According to report from patrol officers of toll road operator
\nJasamarga, the sedan apparently swerved to the left and hit a
\nparked truck. The truck, which was undergoing mechanical repairs,
\ncollapsed and hit a welding truck parked next to it.<\/p>\n
The speeding sedan then hit another truck further the front.<\/p>\n
The accident attracted the attention of motorists, some of
\nwhom slowed down or stopped to watch the evacuation process,
\ncausing a five-kilometer traffic jam.<\/p>\n
Rain also poured down in Bogor in the afternoon, when at about
\n3:30 p.m. a minivan traveling on the Jagorawi toll road heading
\nto Jakarta rammed into the back of a car, causing a pile-up
\ninvolving two other cars.<\/p>\n
Two of the cars were severely damaged in the accident.<\/p>\n
The pile-up caused a long queue along the toll road for about
\none hour, as Jasamarga patrol officers deployed a tow truck to
\nevacuate the cars, and an ambulance for the injured.<\/p>",
