Two people finger Adiguna as shooter<\/p>\n

Two more witnesses have identified businessman Adiguna Sutowo as
\nthe killer of waiter Yohannes "Rudy" Berchmans Haerudy Natong at
\nthe Hilton Hotel's Fluid Bar on Jan. 1.<\/p>\n
Cut Nina, a bartender on duty on New Year's Eve, told the
\ncourt on Thursday that she was standing two meters from Rudy when
\nhe was shot.<\/p>\n
"When I first heard the loud explosion, I didn't realize that
\nit was a gun being fired. After Rudy fell and I approached him, I
\nsaw a man in a long-sleeved white shirt hiding a gun in his
\npocket. That man is the defendant," Nina told the court, adding
\nthat Adiguna did not seem flustered at the time.<\/p>\n
Nina, 23, said she heard Novia Herdiana, also known as Tinul,
\ntry to intervene in an argument Adiguna and Rudy had shortly
\nbefore the shooting, but did not hear the rest of the
\nconversation.<\/p>\n
Another witness, Fluid Club and Lounge general manager Yerry
\nEka Nugraha also testified on Thursday that three employees had
\ntold him right after the incident that it was Adiguna who shot
\nRudy.<\/p>\n
"My marketing manager, Tommy, and a security guard told me
\nthat Rudy was shot and it was Adiguna Sutowo who shot him," Yerry
\nsaid, explaining that he was not in the bar at time of the
\nshooting.<\/p>\n
Yerry added that he then rushed to the bar and found Rudy on
\nthe floor bleeding.<\/p>\n
He also said that Werner Saferna, or Wewen, who was still at
\nthe bar, also told him that it was Adiguna who did the shooting,
\nwhich took place around 5 a.m. on Jan. 1.<\/p>\n
"First, I thought Wewen did it. So I asked him, 'Did you shoot
\nRudy?' and he answered, 'No, it was Adiguna, he just went out the
\nexit door'," Yerry said.<\/p>\n
"I saw a hole in Rudy's head. After that, I carried him to the
\nhotel medical center," Yerry said.<\/p>\n
He added that on the way to the Sutowo Medical Service just
\noff the lobby of the hotel, a man came up to him and helped him
\ncarry Rudy's body.<\/p>\n
"He walked beside me, holding Rudy's neck, while I held Rudy's
\nback. Later, when I asked a Hotel Hilton staffer who the guy was
\nwho helped me, they told me the man was Adiguna," the 35-year-old
\nsaid.<\/p>\n
When asked by the prosecutors why security guards at the hotel
\nhad not discovered Adiguna's gun, Yerry said that he was not sure
\nwhether Adiguna had gone through security check before entering
\nthe club since he might have been considered a VIP guest.<\/p>\n
"We trusted security procedures applied by the hotel
\nmanagement. In theory, everyone has to go through security
\nchecks, but in reality the procedure is not applied to several
\nVIPs," he said, clarifying that VIPs included the owner of the
\nHilton Hotel, his relatives and his colleagues.<\/p>\n
Adiguna Sutowo, the brother of the owner of the hotel, Ponco
\nSutowo, did not comment on the testimony of either witness.<\/p>\n
In the same courtroom a week earlier, Werner Saferna, who
\nremoved the murder weapon from the crime scene only to hand it
\nover to the police a few days later, had testified that Adiguna
\npulled the trigger.<\/p>\n
The 47-year-old Adiguna is charged with unpremeditated murder
\nand illegal possession of a gun, which carry a 15-year prison
\nterm and a life sentence respectively. (006)<\/p>",
