        "content": "<p>Two officials named graft suspects<\/p>\n<p>The Jakarta Post, Jakarta<\/p>\n<p>The West Jakarta Prosecutor's Office has named two top officials<br>\nof the area's Parks Office suspects in a corruption case worth Rp<br>\n1.4 billion (US$155,555.56).<\/p>\n<p>\"We are completing their case files this evening so we can<br>\ncontinue further questioning,\" prosecutor Joko Yuhono told The<br>\nJakarta Post on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Joko named both suspects as former parks office head Harun Al<br>\nRasyid and incumbent head Sri Budi Setiati.<\/p>\n<p>\"They have allegedly enriched themselves by stealing funds<br>\nallocated for the development of parks in districts in West<br>\nJakarta in 2003,\" he said.<\/p>\n<p>Joko said there was evidence the suspects had repeatedly<br>\nstolen from the Rp 3 billion fund from January to December last<br>\nyear.<\/p>\n<p>\"We allege Harun was involved in the thefts from January to<br>\nJuly, while Sri continued the graft from August to December,\" he<br>\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>The office has ranked Jakarta as the third-most corrupt<br>\nadministration after East and West Java. However, no officials<br>\nfrom the city administration have yet been taken to court.<\/p>\n<p>An activist from a corruption watchdog, Amir Hamzah, urged<br>\nprosecutors to be more serious in following up corruption cases<br>\nimplicating city officials.<\/p>\n<p>\"The (prosecutor's) office must prove its seriousness by<br>\nbringing the perpetrators to court,\" he said.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year, city police summoned officials from the<br>\nCity Public Works Agency as witnesses in a Rp 1.3 billion graft<br>\ncase involving a city councillor from the Indonesian Democratic<br>\nParty of Struggle (PDI-P).<\/p>\n<p>That case appears to have stalled.<\/p>",
