        "content": "<p>Police have detained two men, identified by the initials Y and G,\nsuspected of stealing a motorcycle in Ciangsana Village, Gunung Putri\nDistrict, Bogor, West Java. Both were caught by residents after\nallegedly taking the motorcycle from a mosque car park.<\/p>\n<p>Gunung Putri Police Chief Commissioner Hillal Adi Himawan said the\nvictim, identified as B, was inside the mosque when he was informed by\nthe mosque caretaker that his motorcycle was apparently about to be\nstolen. The incident occurred on Friday evening, 28 August.<\/p>\n<p>Upon receiving the information, the victim immediately went to the\ncar park to secure his motorcycle. When he arrived, he found that his\nmotorcycle had been moved from its original position towards the mosque\ngate, a distance of approximately seven metres. The engine was still\nrunning. At the same time, local residents had surrounded the two\nsuspects, who were then apprehended and briefly subjected to mob\njustice.<\/p>\n<p>Officers from Gunung Putri Police, who received the report, promptly\narrived at the scene and secured the two suspects along with a number of\nitems of evidence for further investigation. The evidence seized\nincluded the motorcycle with its registration documents, two ignition\nkeys, a T-shaped key handle, two Y-shaped key bits, a modified magnetic\nignition opener, and a mobile phone.<\/p>\n<p>The alleged theft was carried out by damaging the victim\u2019s motorcycle\nignition using a tool believed to be a fake T-shaped key while the\nvehicle was parked in the mosque courtyard. The suspects and the\nevidence were then taken to the police station for further legal\nprocessing, and police subsequently named them as suspects.<\/p>\n<p>The case is being handled as suspected aggravated theft under Article\n477 of the Criminal Code, which carries a maximum penalty of seven\nyears\u2019 imprisonment.<\/p>",
