Two men arrested for robbery<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Police arrested two people for allegedly robbing
\na man at Jatinegara Railway Station, East Jakarta on Sunday, a
\nhigh-ranking officer said yesterday.<\/p>\n
City police spokesman Lt. Col. E. Aritonang said the suspects,
\nidentified as Martin bin Zaini, 30, and Herman Ibrahim, 23,
\nrobbed Warto, 27, of Kramat Asem, East Jakarta.<\/p>\n
\"The victim was walking around Jatinegara station about 8:30
\np.m. when suddenly the two men grabbed him and threatened him
\nwith a knife,\" he said. \"Warto tried to resist, and one of the
\ncrooks stabbed him in his right thigh.\"<\/p>\n
Aritonang said the two men grabbed Warto's wallet and fled but
\nthe victim's cries for help alerted people nearby who chased
\nafter them.<\/p>\n
\"Before the residents got a chance to lay their hands on those
\ncrooks, the police came and captured them.\"<\/p>\n
Police seized a wallet containing Rp 150,000 in cash and the
\nbloody knife used to stab Warto.<\/p>\n
The investigation is being conducted by Duren Sawit Police
