        "content": "<p>Team head Heni Purwono said here Thursday that the Mangulihi\nInscription and Nandisawahanamurti Statue, housed at the Kailasa Museum\nin Dieng, had been submitted for national heritage status.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlhamdulillah, the Mangulihi Inscription and Nandisawahanamurti\nStatue in Dieng, at the Kailasa Museum, are being proposed this year as\nnational cultural heritage,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>The Mangulihi Inscription is significant because it documents a\nwell-organized system for managing places of worship in the past, she\nsaid, adding that the inscription also demonstrates the literacy skills\nof people living in the area at the time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Mangulihi Inscription is exceptional because it shows a highly\norganized system for managing places of worship and the strength of\nliteracy among people at that time,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>The Nandisawahanamurti Statue is distinctive because it depicts a\nhuman-bodied bull serving as the mount of the Hindu god Shiva, Heni\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>The rare form suggests that ancient Dieng had advanced cultural,\narchitectural, and intellectual capabilities, she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is rare and shows that Dieng had achieved a high level of\ncultural, architectural and intellectual development, making it worthy\nof national heritage status,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Heni said the proposals could encourage more heritage sites in\nBanjarnegara to seek and eventually receive national cultural heritage\nstatus.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEven the Dieng temple complex has not received it. The State Palace\nwas designated only this year.
