        "content": "<p>Police have finally arrested two perpetrators of the machete attack\non an officer at the Parangtritis Retribution Collection Point (TPR) at\nthe end of May. Both are currently detained at the Kretek Police\nStation. \u201cIt is true, the Bantul Police Mobile Investigation Unit\ntogether with the Yogyakarta Regional Police \u2018Jatanras\u2019 Operational Team\nand the Kretek Police Criminal Investigation Unit succeeded in securing\ntwo perpetrators of assault using a sickle against a TPR (Parangtritis)\nofficer,\u201d said Bantul Police Public Relations Head, Iptu Rita Hidayanto,\nto reporters in Bantul on Friday. Rita added that the two perpetrators\nare identified by the initials RWSA (22), a resident of Pendowoharjo,\nSewon, Bantul, and AW (26), a resident of Panggungharjo, Sewon, Bantul.\nBoth were arrested at two different locations in Sewon on Thursday. \u201cThe\nperpetrator RWSA was arrested first around 2.30 pm Western Indonesia\nTime, followed by the perpetrator AW who was nabbed at 7.00 pm Western\nIndonesia Time,\u201d she said. In addition to securing the two perpetrators,\npolice also confiscated a number of pieces of evidence strongly\nsuspected to have been used during the attack. The evidence includes two\nsickles and one automatic motorcycle. \u201cBoth perpetrators have now been\nhanded over to investigators for further examination, and they have also\nbeen detained,\u201d she stated. For their actions, the two perpetrators are\ncharged under Article 262 of the Criminal Code concerning the criminal\nact of jointly committing violence against persons or property in\npublic. As previously reported, a post describing a Parangtritis\nretribution collection officer as a victim of a machete attack while on\nduty went viral on social media. Police stated that as a result of the\nincident, the victim suffered a laceration on his left thigh. \u201cA\ncriminal act occurred at the Parangtritis TPR between 9.30 pm. The\nperpetrator\u2019s characteristics include using a black Honda Beat\nmotorcycle and wearing a face mask. The victim was a TPR guard. He came\nfrom the south, stopped at the TPR, and swung a sickle. The sickle fell\nand he fled,\u201d said the Instagram account <span class=\"citation\" data-cites=\"merapi_uncover\">@merapi_uncover<\/span>. Bantul Police Public\nRelations Head, Iptu Rita Hidayanto, said the incident began when the\nvictim, MBA (38), a resident of Parangtritis, Kretek, Bantul, was on\nduty at the old Parangtritis TPR around 9.00 pm.
