Two arrested for cheating<\/p>\n
BOGOR (JP): The Cibinong police, Bogor, arrested two suspects
\nwho had allegedly cheated their victims out of millions of
\nrupiah.<\/p>\n
Cibinong police chief First Insp. Fridon said on Monday that
\nthe police arrested Uri Ilyas bin Patja, 40, and Badrudin bin
\nNamin, 42, at their separate homes in Cibinong on Saturday and
\nSunday.<\/p>\n
Both suspects had tricked their victims into giving their
\nmoney to them on a promise it would be multiplied, but that did
\nnot happen and instead the suspects used the money.<\/p>\n
Fridon said the police, acting on a tip from one of his
\nvictims, raided Uri's home at Naggewer village, Cibinong, on
\nSaturday night.<\/p>\n
The police confiscated some evidence from Uri's home,
\nincluding a cloth shroud, complete with animal bones and agate
\nstones.<\/p>\n
According to Fridon, Uri admitted to the police that he had
\ntricked one of his victims, Uta Sutami, into giving him as much
\nas Rp 120 million.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Badrudin bin Namin alias Sech Maulana Yusuf was
\narrested at his home in Pakan Sari, Cibinong. Badrudin told the
\npolice that he had cheated 14 people, and taken around Rp 100
