        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - Polda Metro Jaya arrested two suspects in a case\nof theft with violence or begal using firearms in the Cikarang area,\nBekasi Regency, West Java. The Director of General Criminology (Reserse\nKriminal Umum) of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Iman Imanuddin, said the\nactions of the two suspects identified as JF and AS went viral on social\nmedia. \u2018For the two suspects, when our officers on the ground were about\nto arrest them, they were carrying firearms, so with public safety and\nofficer safety in mind, we took firm and measured action,\u2019 he said. He\nexplained the force will not hesitate to take decisive action to\nsafeguard the public and the officers, particularly against begal in\nPolda Metro Jaya\u2019s jurisdiction. \u2018Nevertheless, field duties will\ncontinue to respect Human Rights,\u2019 he said. He added that during\npreliminary checks on the way to arrest, the gang had operated in six\nother locations across East Jakarta and Bekasi. For their actions, both\nsuspects are charged with multiple articles: Article 477 (robbery with\naggravating circumstances), Article 479 (robbery with violence), and\nArticle 306 (illegal weapons and explosives), Criminal Code (KUHP) with\na maximum penalty of 15 years\u2019 imprisonment. Iman said the rapid arrest\nsuccess was aided by active community involvement, high appreciation to\nthe neighbourhood watch posts (Poskamling) and social media activists\nwho promptly provided information about security disturbances.
