TV crime shows traumatize masses<\/p>\n

Various criminal reports have been aired by local TV stations,
\nwhich are still within proper limits. But when the programs
\npresent reenactments of some crimes, many viewers find it
\ndifficult to wipe from their memories.<\/p>\n
Some people cannot forget the disturbing criminal acts their
\nwhole life, others become traumatized and others develop an
\nobsession and become "copycat" criminals after what they have
\nseen on TV.<\/p>\n
Criminal news on TV should therefore be designed in such a way
\nthat it will deter perpetrators and educate TV audiences, by
\nairing the punishment imposed on the culprits and\/or their
\nendeavors to restore their normal life.<\/p>\n
This is, in fact, a big assignment for the criminal report
\nsection of the stations, because however small the stories are of
\ncrime on TV, they have some impact on certain groups of viewers.<\/p>\n
