        "content": "<p>Civil servants continue to work as usual. No services have stopped\ndespite several rooms being sealed. Tulungagung, East Java (ANTARA) -\nPublic services and office activities in the Tulungagung Regency\nGovernment, East Java, are assured to run normally even though several\nrooms remain sealed by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK)\nfollowing a sting operation against the local regent. Acting Secretary\nof the Regional Secretariat of Tulungagung, Soeroto, stated on Monday\nthat the sealing of several rooms does not disrupt government operations\nbecause Civil Servants (ASN) can still work by utilising alternative\nspaces. \u201cCivil servants continue to work as usual. No services have\nstopped despite several rooms being sealed,\u201d he said. In the regency\noffice, the sealed rooms include the procurement of goods and services\nroom as well as the meeting room of the procurement section. Meanwhile,\nat the Public Works Department office, sealing was carried out on the\nwater resources room (SDA), roads and bridges development room, roads\nand bridges administration staff room, as well as the head of\ndepartment\u2019s room. Due to the sealing, several administrative activities\nhave been relocated to other rooms to ensure services continue to run.\nIn addition, the local government is still awaiting instructions from\nthe Ministry of Home Affairs regarding the filling of the regional head\nposition following the sting operation. Previously, the KPK designated\nTulungagung Regent Gatut Sunu Wibowo and his aide Dwi Yoga Ambal as\nsuspects in a case of alleged extortion against several regional device\norganisations (OPD). In the case, the regent is alleged to have targeted\nthe collection of funds up to Rp5 billion, and around Rp2.7 billion was\nsecured during the sting operation.<\/p>",
