"summary": "Global oil prices edged lower in early Asian trading on Monday following US President Donald Trump's announcement on Truth Social that the United States will assist in safely escorting ships out of the restricted waters of the Strait of Hormuz amid ongoing tensions with Iran. Brent crude fell 0.59% to $107.53 per barrel, while WTI dropped 0.82% to $101.10 per barrel, as shipping traffic remains limited, sustaining supply disruption fears despite stalled US-Iran nuclear talks. The situation highlights the geopolitical risks to global energy markets, with no immediate resolution in sight as both sides hold firm on key demands.",
