Istanbul (ANTARA) - US President Donald Trump has shortened his\nweekend visit to Camp David and is expected to return to the White House\non Saturday (19\/9) evening, according to White House correspondent\nreports.<\/p>\n
The White House updated the President\u2019s schedule, indicating that\nTrump will return to Washington via Marine One. The presidential\nhelicopter is expected to arrive at the Ellipse at approximately 19:00\nlocal time (23:00 GMT\/Sunday, 20\/9, 06:00 WIB), according to pool\nreports provided by USA Today journalist Joey Garrison.<\/p>\n
No specific reason was provided regarding the change to Trump\u2019s\nschedule.<\/p>\n
Earlier on Saturday (19\/9), F-16 fighter jets from the North American\nAerospace Defence Command (NORAD) intercepted a general aviation\naircraft that entered restricted airspace over Thurmont, Maryland, near\nCamp David, where Trump was staying. The aircraft was safely escorted\nout of the area. The First Air Force stated that the incident posed no\ndanger to people on the ground and did not indicate any threat to Trump\nor the presidential retreat.<\/p>\n
These developments occur as the US State Department issued travel\nwarnings due to rising tensions in the Middle East. The Department urged\nAmerican citizens located outside the region to seriously reconsider\ntravel plans to and through the area.<\/p>\n
In a post on the social media platform X, the agency\u2019s Travel.Gov\naccount stated that Americans in the Middle East should increase\nvigilance and prepare for the possibility of flight cancellations,\nairspace closures, and other disruptions.<\/p>\n

The agency also warned that Iran-backed Houthis have been involved in\nhostilities with Saudi Arabia, including attacks involving civilian\nairports, and noted that the conflict has the \u201cpotential to escalate\nrapidly\u201d.<\/p>\n
