        "content": "<p>Trial on eviction case continues<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: About 200 people representing a group of squatters<br>\nevicted from a plot of land near Taman Anggrek shopping mall in<br>\nWest Jakarta attended the civil suit trial they filed against the<br>\nauthority on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>After weeks of postponements, the trial at the West Jakarta<br>\nDistrict Court continued on Wednesday with the accused presenting<br>\nland ownership documents.<\/p>\n<p>The accused parties include Agustina Munawar, who received<br>\ntitle to the land from the original land owner, former West<br>\nJakarta mayor Sarimun Hadisumitra, the land developer PT Sinar<br>\nSlipi Sejahtera and the City Public Order Agency.<\/p>\n<p>The eviction in 2003 caused at least 825 families to lose<br>\ntheir homes without any compensation.<\/p>\n<p>\"The inhuman measure has forced us to sleep under bridges<br>\nnow,\" one of the residents, Ali, complained.<\/p>\n<p>The trial was adjourned until next week. --JP<\/p>",
