Wijiaya II No. 35 in<br>\nKemang on Saturday got a nasty surprise when tree branches began<br>\nraining down on their vehicles, smashing windows and injuring a<br>\ntruck driver.<\/p>\n<p>At least four cars and four motorcycles were damaged in the<br>\nincident, while the truck driver, Ngatino, received lacerations<br>\nto both hands after a branch shattered his windshield.<\/p>\n<p>The cause of the falling branches was workers pruning an<br>\nacacia tree on a golf course bordering the road.<\/p>\n<p>Motorists said the workers had failed to put any warning signs<br>\naround the location and seven of the eight motorists in the<br>\naccident have reported the case to the South Jakarta Police.<\/p>\n<p>\"All motorists have asked for compensation (from the golf<br>\nclub) for the damage caused, owing to the management's negligence<br>\nleading to the incident,\" officer First Insp.
