        "content": "<p>JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) has launched\nan innovative service through the Female Seat Map feature in the Access\nby KAI app, aimed at enhancing comfort and safety for female\npassengers.<\/p>\n<p>This feature enables female users to view a more informative seat map\nwhen selecting seats for intercity train journeys.<\/p>\n<p>Through this feature, seats booked by female passengers are marked in\npink, while seats occupied by male passengers are displayed in grey.<\/p>\n<p>With these markers, female passengers can choose seats adjacent to or\nin the same area as other women, making the journey feel more\ncomfortable.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKAI continues to provide services that are responsive to societal\nneeds, from women-friendly facilities, child-friendly access, to\ndisability-friendly amenities,\u201d said Anne in an official statement on\nMonday (20\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Anne stated that various women-friendly facilities are also\navailable, such as women-only trains on the Commuter Line and LRT\nJabodebek at certain times, as well as separate men\u2019s and women\u2019s\ntoilets on long-distance trains.<\/p>\n<p>Through the Access by KAI app, female customers can also select seats\nnear other women via the female seat map feature.<\/p>\n<p>For pregnant women, priority seats, special counters, and pregnant\nmother pins are provided. At stations, KAI offers 120 lactation rooms to\nsupport comfort during travel.<\/p>\n<p>From a security perspective, KAI is also enhancing the surveillance\nsystem through strengthened operational standards, integration of the\nCommand Centre with the Contact Centre, and the use of CCTV Analytics at\nstations and on trains.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe continue to strengthen systems and surveillance, while\nencouraging customers to mutually safeguard shared spaces so that\njourneys remain safe and comfortable,\u201d added Anne.<\/p>",
