        "content": "<p>Bandarlampung, Lampung \u2014 Transport Minister Dudy Purwagandhi said his\nministry has worked with relevant parties to prepare five sea crossing\nroutes to facilitate Java-Sumatra transit during the 2026 Lebaran\nholiday transport period.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking in Bandarlampung, Lampung, on Tuesday, Dudy said the five\nsea crossing routes are: Merak Port to Bakauheni Port, Ciwandan Port to\nPT Wijaya Karya Beton Port, and Ciwandan Port to Bakauheni Port.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThen, BBJ Bojonegoro Port to BBJ Muara Pilu, and from PT Krakatau\nBandar Samudera Port to Panjang Port,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He urged all operators to prepare services as they had done in\nprevious periods, namely during Christmas, New Year, and Lebaran\ntransport seasons.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith these arrangements, we hope to serve the public well. We have\nalready asked BBJ Port to prepare 12 ships to transport large vehicles,\nand Ciwandan Port has also prepared 12 ships to transport passengers\nwishing to cross,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that to improve the flow of homebound travellers during\nthe 2026 Lebaran transport period, a queuing system would also be\nimplemented at Bakauheni Port, spread across 10 toll road and arterial\nroad points in the surrounding area.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are preparing to assist with all readiness measures to ensure\nsmooth crossings. BBJ Bojonegara Port will serve large trucks of\ncategories VIII and IX, Bakauheni Port has been prepared without vehicle\ndiversion, and Krakatau Bandar Samudera Port has been prepared as a\ncontingency measure,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, for the 2026 Lebaran sea transport period, 829 ships are\navailable with a capacity of 3.26 million passengers, supported by 636\nsea ports.<\/p>\n<p>For land transport, 31,345 buses are available with a capacity of 1.2\nmillion seats, supported by 115 Type A terminals and 62 Type B\nterminals.<\/p>\n<p>For ferry transport, 255 vessels are available with a capacity of 6.1\nmillion passengers and 770,000 vehicles, supported by 15 crossing routes\nand 29 ports.<\/p>\n<p>For air transport, 392 aircraft are available with a capacity of 8.2\nmillion passengers, supported by 257 airports. For rail transport, 3,821\nunits are available with intercity capacity of 3.58 million passengers,\nregional capacity of 2.9 million passengers, and commuter capacity of\n51.5 million passengers, supported by 668 railway stations.<\/p>",
