A Transjakarta bus with registration number B-7190-TGD was involved\nin a single-vehicle accident after hitting a busway lane separator on\nJalan Letjen MT Haryono, Cikoko, South Jakarta, on Monday morning.<\/p>\n
Head of the Traffic Law Enforcement Sub-directorate of Polda Metro\nJaya, AKBP Ojo Ruslani, stated that the incident occurred at 05:10 WIB\nin the westbound direction, in front of Menara Hijau. \u201cPrior to the\naccident, the Mayasari bus was travelling from east to west on Jalan\nLetjen MT Haryono. Upon reaching the scene in front of Menara Hijau,\nCikoko, it is suspected that due to a lack of caution and concentration,\nthe vehicle struck the busway separator on its left side,\u201d Ojo said.<\/p>\n
The driver, identified as Danang Prasetya A, 34, a resident of\nCijantung, East Jakarta, suffered bruising to the forehead and a\nlaceration near the left eye. He was evacuated to Tebet Hospital for\nmedical treatment, and a visum et repertum (medicolegal report) has been\nrequested.<\/p>\n
Ojo added that the driver is suspected of violating Article 106 and\nArticle 283 in conjunction with Article 310 paragraph (2) of Law Number\n22 of 2009 on Road Traffic and Transport. The Polda Metro Jaya Traffic\nDirectorate has processed the scene, secured the bus as evidence, and\nmanaged traffic flow to restore normal conditions.
