The Jakarta Fair (PRJ) 2026 is not merely a destination for hunting\nculinary treats, fashion products or electronic goods. The annual event\nis also being used by a number of institutions to bring their services\ncloser to the public, including PT Transportasi Jakarta\n(Transjakarta).<\/p>\n
Located in Hall C1 of JIExpo Kemayoran, the Transjakarta booth\nprovides a range of information on public transport services accessible\nto the public.<\/p>\n
Visitors can obtain explanations about the various programmes run by\nTransjakarta, from the Open Top Tour Bus (Turbas) sightseeing service to\ninformation on the free service card facilities for certain groups of\nresidents in Jakarta.<\/p>\n
The presence of the booth has been welcomed positively by visitors.\nOne visitor said she had been helped because she could obtain direct\ninformation about the free transport card programme, which had\npreviously been difficult to find through social media.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe information is good. It happened to coincide with Jakarta\u2019s\nanniversary, and there was information about free transport cards for\ncertain residents. Access was really difficult on Instagram. I came here\nand they explained where to access it, and the process is fast,\u201d said\nVivi, a visitor from Kampung Rambutan.<\/p>\n
Beyond providing service information, the Transjakarta booth also\nserves as an educational tool to encourage the public to become more\nfamiliar with public transport as an everyday mobility choice.<\/p>\n
Transjakarta bus attendant Lasadar Mahelatu said he hoped more people\nwould switch to using public transport. In his view, using Transjakarta\nnot only makes journeys easier but can also help reduce congestion in\nthe capital.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy hope is that Transjakarta users will increase in the future,\nbecause Transjakarta makes travel easier and helps users avoid traffic\njams,\u201d said the bus attendant for Corridor 9 Pinang Ranti, La Sadar\nMahelatu.<\/p>\n
Through its participation at PRJ 2026, Transjakarta aims to broaden\npublic access to information while raising awareness of the various\nservices and programmes available.<\/p>\n
