Train tickets sold out<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (ANTARA): All train tickets to all destinations in
\nCentral and East Java over Christmas and New Year have sold out.<\/p>\n
Eddy Sasongko, state railway company Perumka's Jakarta office
\nhead, said \"Christmas and New Year train services started on Dec.
\n18 and holiday makers could make reservations one week in advance
\nin order to avoid any difficulty in buying tickets at the
\ndeparture time. But the tickets, particularly those for long-
\ndistance services, sold out when the ticket counters opened\".<\/p>\n
The sold out trains are the Jakarta to Surabaya Argo Bromo
\nexpress trains, the Jakarta to Solo Argo Lawu express trains, the
\nJakarta to Surabaya Sembrani Express trains and the Jakarta to
\nBandung Argo Gede express trains.<\/p>\n
\"Argo Bromo train tickets for Dec. 25 sold out on December 18
\nand so far there are no longer reservations available for express
\ntrains which leave Jakarta on Dec. 28,\" he said.<\/p>\n
He said Perumka would not operate extra trains over the
\nholiday season but would add some extra carriages.<\/p>",
