        "content": "<p>PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Regional Operations Area 1 Jakarta\nhas confirmed that long-distance train services from Gambir Station will\noperate as normal and on schedule on Wednesday, despite planned\ndemonstrations at several locations in Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>KAI Daop 1 Jakarta public relations manager Franoto Wibowo said the\ndemonstrations would not affect train departure times from Gambir\nStation, but passengers should take account of traffic conditions on\nroads leading to the station.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll train services from Gambir Station will continue to operate\nnormally and on schedule. We urge passengers to arrive early to\nanticipate possible congestion or traffic diversions due to today\u2019s\nplanned demonstrations,\u201d Franoto said in an official statement on\nWednesday (28 October 2026).<\/p>\n<p>KAI Daop 1 Jakarta also urged passengers to monitor the latest\ntraffic information and follow officials\u2019 instructions if vehicle\ntraffic is managed around Gambir Station.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Jakarta Transportation Agency head Budi Awaluddin said\ndemonstrations would begin at 12 noon WIB, with activity planned around\nMonas, Tugu Tani and the DPR\/MPR building.<\/p>\n<p>He urged all road users, including long-distance rail passengers\ntravelling to or from Gambir Station, to avoid the areas, adjust their\ntravel times and routes, and comply with traffic signs and instructions\nfrom personnel on the ground, putting road safety first.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, public transport services, including Transjakarta, MRT\nJakarta and LRT Jakarta, are operating normally.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf traffic is diverted, Transjakarta services will adjust to the\ntraffic arrangements during the demonstrations,\u201d Budi said.<\/p>",
